About
I'm Dharampal — a software architect and consultant with over 20 years of experience designing, building, and scaling business-critical systems across fintech, agritech, healthcare, AI platforms, cloud telephony, and enterprise SaaS.
I work hands-on with clients to solve complex problems end-to-end — architecting distributed systems, modernizing legacy platforms, building AI-powered workflows, or coaching teams on better engineering practices. I focus on what actually moves the needle, not process for its own sake.
Current focus
Most of my recent work has been helping large engineering organizations actually get value out of AI-assisted development — not by picking a tool, but by stabilizing the delivery practices underneath it. That's meant running enablement workshops and embedded engagements for engineering teams at a global GPU and semiconductor manufacturer and a global automotive enterprise: CI/CD foundations, cleaner repository structure, and Agile/Kanban practices that hold up once AI tools speed up the coding part.
Background
Before AI SDLC work became the focus: two decades of hands-on delivery — architecture, full-stack development, cloud/platform engineering, and production systems at scale, including a core banking platform processing 18,000 requests per minute and fintech services handling 300,000+ requests per second. I work across the stack — React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, Kotlin, Spring Boot — with cloud-native infrastructure and, increasingly, LLM-based workflows.
Working together
Engagements usually take one of a few shapes: an AI SDLC readiness assessment, an embedded enablement engagement over weeks or months, fractional architecture involvement, a focused rescue on a specific system, or a training bootcamp for your team (I've run these for teams like Zepto and Rapido). If you're not sure which fits, that's a fine place to start a conversation.
Have a problem worth talking about?
I'm generally happy to have a conversation before there's a formal ask.
